The annual 4th district bowling tournament was held today. This event is a fun way for the entire legion family to enjoy an afternoon of good will along with some competition. The post, ALA, SOA and ALRA all had representative teams from many different posts. Besides the bowling there are a few raffles held to raise money that goes back to our veterans.
We held a fundraiser called Souper Sunday today. Member of the Auxiliary made homemade soups - 10 different varieties to be served to the general public. We offered a bowl of soup, dinner roll and a slice of dessert for $8. Each of the soup makers served up their soup during this Sunday afternoon. We also had some raffles to add to our fund raising efforts.
